Understanding Your Water Bill

Water Capital Reserve: This is money set aside for future water system improvements and upgrades. Think of it as savings for big projects.
Water O/M (Operations and Maintenance): This covers the day-to-day costs of running the water system, including staff salaries, repairs, and routine upkeep. It’s about keeping everything functioning smoothly.
Sewer Capital Reserve: Similar to the water capital reserve, this fund is for planned upgrades and improvements to the sewer system. It ensures there’s money available for significant projects.
Sewer O/M (Operations and Maintenance): This refers to the ongoing costs associated with managing the sewer system. It includes routine maintenance, repairs, and operational expenses to ensure the system works effectively.
