As our nation approaches the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, Buckingham Township is honored to be part of the September 11th National Memorial Trail—a meaningful tribute connecting the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville.

Stretching 1,500 miles through communities across several states, including 129 municipalities in Pennsylvania, the trail offers a place to walk, bike, reflect and remember. Governor Josh Shapiro’s administration is working with communities throughout Pennsylvania to complete trail signage ahead of this important anniversary.

For many of us, September 11 is a day we will never forget. This trail ensures that future generations will also understand the lives lost, the bravery shown and the strength that brought our nation together.
