What an incredible evening in Buckingham Township!
Our very first Buckingham Night Market at Holicong Park was more successful than we could have imagined. From the moment families began arriving, the park was filled with music, laughter, great food and the wonderful sense of community that makes Buckingham such a special place to call home.
What began as a new idea quickly felt like the start of a new Buckingham tradition. Families enjoyed free activities, including bounce houses, face painting, balloon art, Action Karate and activities with Cub Pack 169. Guests shopped from local vendors, visited with community organizations, sampled plenty of delicious food and enjoyed live music by RJ Acoustic Performance.
We extend a heartfelt thank-you to all of the food trucks and beverage vendors who joined us:
Skips Kitchen, Bonjour Creperie, Top Dog Hot Dogs, Local Harvest Pizza, Smokestack’s BBQ, Kona Ice, Sloby Ice Cream, Travelin’ Toms Coffee and Free Spirit.
Our market vendors helped make the evening a true local shopping experience:
Hollow House Farms, Hundred Fruit Farm, Smokehaus Farm, Calico Bread, Sugarbottom Hemp, Dahlia Flowers, Bake Ability, Your Chocolate Guys, Aurora Bistro, Mr. Big Stuff Cookie, Solebury Nectar, Tastefully Simple, Gourmet Foods, StitchedbyBuns, Art by Rozzi and Philly Pretzel Factory.
We were also grateful to welcome our community partners:
Bucks County Orthodontics, Laurie Ann Moore, LBK Design Build, Bountiful Acres, Bucks County Housing Group, Solebury Club, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Otterly’s Bath, Stages Academy, Family of God Lutheran Church and the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance.
Thank you to everyone who supported the Bucks County Housing Group food drive and helped the evening make a difference beyond the park.
Special recognition goes to the Buckingham Township Public Works Department, our volunteer fire companies and the Buckingham Township Parks and Recreation Commission. Their hard work, planning and willingness to bring a new idea to life made this event possible. From preparing the park to working behind the scenes throughout the evening, their dedication was evident in every detail.
We also sincerely thank our sponsors—Bucks County Orthodontics, Lakeside Custom Homes & Renovations and Fred Beans Auto Group—for helping us provide an evening the entire community could enjoy.
Most importantly, thank you to every resident, family and visitor who came out and made our first Night Market such a memorable success. Seeing Holicong Park filled with neighbors enjoying the evening together exceeded our expectations and opened the door to many exciting possibilities for future Night Markets in Buckingham.
If you missed the first one—or are already looking forward to another—please join us for our next two Buckingham Night Markets:
Friday, August 28, from 5:30–8:30 p.m.
Friday, September 25, from 5:30–8:30 p.m.
Come hungry, bring the family and join us for another evening of local food, shopping, music and community fun at Holicong Park!
