As we kicked off 2025, Buckingham Township began our year-long celebration of 325 years of history with some fantastic events and initiatives.
We started the month with a special performance by Fred Miller, who took us on a journey through American history with his captivating "I Hear America Singing" presentation. Accompanied by his piano, Fred's melodies added a fun, yet educational, twist to the stories that shaped our nation’s past.
We also launched our brand-new 325th anniversary website! This exciting new resource will serve as a hub for all things Buckingham Township—offering a rich archive of our history, fun facts, and easy access to merchandise and our Legacy Brick Campaign. Ending the month on a meaningful note, we kicked off the 325 in 2025 blood drive initiative in partnership with the American Red Cross. We’re proud to host monthly donation dates throughout the year, so please keep an eye on our updates and join us in this important cause.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our Christmas tree recycling program. Your efforts are vital in helping to maintain sustainability here in Buckingham! We appreciate your commitment to keeping our community green.
We wrapped up the month with a fantastic Friday night event—One Room Schoolhouses, presented by Chase Palmer. It was an engaging and informative evening about the history of local one-room schoolhouses, with special guests who were owners of such historic sites right here in Bucks County, including Buckingham. The event truly captured the charm of our small-town community.
