DECLARATION OF SNOW EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, a disaster has occurred or is imminent by reason of
BLIZZARD HERNANDO
WHEREAS, the effect of the disaster has/will endanger the health, safety, and welfare of persons residing in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania;
WHEREAS, Emergency Management measures are required to reduce the severity of the
disaster and to protect the health, safety, and welfare of those residing in
Buckingham Township;
NOW THEREFORE WE, pursuant to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Emergency
Management Code, 35 PA C.S.A. Section 7101, et. Seq. hereby declare the existence of a
Local Disaster Emergency in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
FURTHER, WE direct that the Buckingham Township Emergency Management
Coordinator, or other such persons acting on his behalf, coordinate the activities of the
Emergency Response and take all appropriate action necessary to mitigate the effects of the
disaster, to aid in the restoration of essential public services, and to take any and all other
Emergency Response action deemed necessary to respond to the Local Disaster Emergency
as authorized by the Buckingham Township Emergency Operations Plan and the
Emergency Services Code.
THIS DECLARATION shall take effect: 3:00 PM on February 22, 2026
