FEBRUARY 10, 2025
This morning, around 11:00 AM, first responders were called to the Doylestown Airport area following reports of a single-engine plane crash. Upon arrival, authorities discovered the plane overturned in a gravel parking lot located in the 3800 block of Old Easton Road. The male pilot was able to exit the plane on his own without any injuries. The pilot reported experiencing mechanical issues shortly after takeoff and was attempting to return to the airport.
Preliminary findings suggest the plane encountered mechanical problems shortly after takeoff and was returning to the airport when the crash occurred. The pilot reported that he attempted to make an emergency landing. The investigation has been handed over to the FAA, with Buckingham officials still on scene to assist.
