Buckingham Township is seeking interested residents interested in serving as members of the Park & Recreation Commission.
The Park & Recreation Commission serves as an advisory body to the Board of Supervisors. Members are appointed by the Board and assist in guiding the development of improvements to our four Township parks, trails, programs, and recreational facilities in a manner that benefits the entire community and ensures responsible management of public resources.
Responsibilities Include:
Providing advisory input on our parks, facilities, and recreational programming
Supporting policy development, budgeting, and long-term planning efforts
Promoting inclusive, community-focused events and partnerships
Ideal Candidates Will Demonstrate:
An interest in community service and outdoor recreation
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
Willingness to attend meetings and participate in occasional events
Meeting Schedule:
Meetings are held at the call of the Chairman until all positions are filled
