Rain Barrel Workshop

Join us for the Rain Barrel Workshop: Build Your Own and discover the myriad benefits of installing one on your property.
Sponsored by Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards, the Neshaminy Watershed Association and the Buckingham township EAC this event offers the opportunity to not only learn about the advantages of rain barrels but also to construct your own. Whether you're keen on conserving water, controlling stormwater, or nurturing your lawn and garden, a rain barrel can make a significant difference. During the workshop, you'll construct your own rain barrel and delve into topics such as stormwater management, best practices for homeowners, the anatomy of a rain barrel, maintenance tips, and how to properly connect it to your downspout. Don't miss this chance to embrace sustainability and enhance your property's environmental impact.
The cost for the Rain Barrel including all parts is $20, must be Cash or Check made payable to Buckingham Township.

Rain Barrel Information
- Please bring appropriate transportation to take your rain barrel home. The rain barrels are typically compatible with the cargo space in most SUVs.
- Rain barrel specs: HPDE, Food Grade, BPA free measures 23.3" in diameter and 34.9" in height.
