This past spring, Buckingham Township proudly became the 84th municipality in Pennsylvania to be certified as a Bird Town PA community. Thanks to the dedication of our Environmental Advisory Commission (EAC) and Township staff, this recognition highlights our ongoing commitment to sustainability and ecological stewardship.
At the July Board of Supervisors meeting, Heidi Shiver, President of Bird Town PA, presented the official designation to our EAC, Board members, and Township staff. As a Bird Town, Buckingham is better positioned to meet its sustainability goals and foster a healthier, more biodiverse environment for all.
