PRESS RELEASE on STATUS OF TOWNSHIP OFFICES

November 30, 2020

Due to the increasing number of COVID19 cases as well as the latest orders from Pennsylvania Governor Wolf, the Township Administrative Offices will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC effective November 30, 2020. Admittance to the Township Administrative Offices will continue by appointment only.

ALL essential services such as the Police, Fire, Emergency Medical Services, and the Water & Wastewater Department will continue normal operations. Township officials are coordinating planning and response measures with the input and guidance from the Bucks County Health Department, Bucks County Emergency Management, and the CDC protocols. The health and safety of our residents and staff is our highest priority.

Given the ongoing public health emergency, departmental staffing will be minimal and staggered. Staff will be working remotely when possible. Please direct all correspondence to Township phones, emails, or mail. Staff will work diligently to respond in a timely manner. Paperwork, applications, and correspondence can also be dropped in the secure mailbox located along the front walkway at the Township Building.

Building and zoning inspections can be scheduled by calling 215-794-8836.

Residents are reminded to follow all CDC and Bucks County Department of Health guidelines.

Practice basic precautions such as:
• Wear a mask
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose & mouth
• Practice social distancing

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick

• Stay home if you are sick
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or your arm
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched object and surfaces
• Wash your hands often with soap and water, at least 20 seconds
