COVID-19 PRESS RELEASE - June 26, 2020

 

-        Bucks County is now in the Green Phase of the Governor’s Reopening Plan.

-        Township offices are fully staffed and open by Appointment Only. To make an appointment, please contact our office and we will schedule you with the appropriate department or staff member. We will continue to be available by phone or email. Masks must be worn and social distancing guidelines followed.

-        Correspondence, permit applications, and water payments may be mailed OR placed into new mailbox located outside the Administrative Offices at the front walk. NO CASH payments please.

-        Township parks, trails, playgrounds, and pavilions are all open.  Park restrooms remain closed at this time.

-        The Township Website www.buckinghampa.org is updated periodically with press releases and information on Township operations and services. Buckingham Emergency Management Twitter @BuckinghamEMA sends out updates and information from local, state, and federal sources.

Work & Congregate Setting Restrictions in the Green Phase

 

All businesses may operate beginning June 26th provided the owners/organizers strictly adhere to the state guidance. Review the industry specific guidelines page for more detailed reopening guidance.

-   Continued Telework Strongly Encouraged

-   Businesses with In-Person Operations Must Follow Building Safety Requirements

-   All Businesses Operating at 50% Occupancy in the Yellow Phase May Increase to 75% Occupancy

-   Child Care May Open Complying with Guidance

-   Congregate Care Restrictions in Place

 

Social Restrictions

 

-  Large Gatherings of More Than 250 Prohibited

-  Masks Are Required When Entering a Business

-  Restaurants and Bars Open at 50% Occupancy

-  Personal Care Services (hair salons & barbershops) open at 50% Occupancy & appointment only

-  Indoor Recreation, Health & Wellness Facilities, and Personal Care Services (such as gyms and spas) open at 50% Occupancy

-  All Entertainment (such as casinos, theaters, and shopping malls) Open at 50% Occupancy

-  Construction Activity May Return to Full Capacity with Continued Implementation of Protocols

-  All businesses must follow CDC and DOH guidance for social distancing and cleaning

-  Monitor public health indicators, adjust orders and restrictions as necessary
