Find Out Direct & Find Out First!

Buckingham Township wants you to be informed before, during, and after an emergency. That's why the Township is using several outlets to provide timely information to our residents during this public health crisis.

Our Emergency Management Agency maintains a twitter account at @BuckinghamEMA. Here you will find general information on emergency preparedness, home safety, and general Township information. Updates for ongoing Township events will be sent when possible. Our Twitter account is not monitored 24/7. For emergencies, please call 911.

For emergency action information and critical messages, the Township uses the ReadyBucks system. This provides a broad range of emergency notification to those who live and work in the area. We can send an e-mail or a text message to your mobile phone or other e-mail enabled device. You let ReadyBucksknow how you’d like to be notified. The alerts are free; however, your cellular provider may charge for text messaging. Buckingham Township strongly recommends that its residents sign up for this important emergency notification program.

What’s unique about the system is the degree to which subscribers can customize the kinds of messages they receive as well as how they receive them.
